Hi, I’m Vania.
I’m an Alaska photographer, officiant, and planner. After years of photographing weddings, I realized something: getting married doesn’t have to be complicated. Especially when what you really want is to stand somewhere incredible, marry your person, and actually enjoy the day.
Why I started doing this
Over the years, couples started asking me questions that had very little to do with photography. Where should we get married? How do we get the license? Who can marry us? What happens if the weather changes? Can you help us figure all of this out?
Eventually, I realized they weren’t really looking for another wedding vendor. They needed someone here in Alaska who could help them put the pieces together.
That’s how Alaska Elopements Made Easy began.
What you can expect from us
I’m not interested in turning your elopement into a production. I’ll help you make a plan, tell you what matters, and keep an eye on the things you probably wouldn’t know to think about. You might also meet my assistant Eli who is great at logistics (and at criticizing the picture quality of my cell phone while filming some of the behind the scenes :)
And when the day comes, we’ll follow the plan — until Alaska gives us a better one.
